The same organization looks different from the factory floor, the sales desk, the boardroom, and the executive suite.

None of those views is the organization.

Each is a position within it.

Leadership becomes dangerous when positional visibility is mistaken for complete visibility.

The higher the authority, the easier that mistake becomes.

What can someone elsewhere in the organization see precisely because they are not sitting where you are?
