A Strong Culture Makes Some Questions Harder to Ask
Executive Field Note 038
Culture makes behavior predictable.
People learn what matters.
How decisions are made.
What belongs.
What does not.
The stronger those patterns become, the less they require explanation.
That creates coherence.
It also creates boundaries.
Some questions become so inconsistent with the culture that they no longer occur to anyone inside it.
A strong culture does not merely shape behavior.
It shapes what can be questioned.
