Old expertise may become less valuable.
Old relationships less central.
Old certainty less available.
What looks like resistance may therefore be information.
The larger the transformation, the more existing structures are disturbed.
Counterforce does not necessarily mean the change is wrong.
It reveals what the change is asking the organization to release.
